UPDATED
RCMP closed the eastbound lanes of the Perimeter Highway on Friday morning, October 25, 2019 after a fatal collision between a semi and a car.

It happened just after 9:00 am near Brady Road. Eastbound traffic was rerouted back west so emergency crews work.
Stars Air Ambulance was called to the scene but did not transport anyone.

A 19-year-old male from the RM of Rockwood died in the collision. He was the only occupant in the vehicle.
Police say that the car was travelling east on the Perimeter when it was hit from behind by a semi also travelling east. The impact pushed the car into another truck.
RCMP say that the eastbound lanes of the Perimeter Highway are expected to remain closed for most of the day as investigators are on scene.
