Canada Day collision claims life of teen on Highway 3

RCMP say that a 17-year-old female is dead after the vehicle she was a passenger in collided with another vehicle on Highway 3 about 9 kilometers south of Highway 23

It happened just before midnight on July  1, 2018

Police say that the vehicle the woman was in was traveling north was being driven by a 17-year-old male from Rosenfeld when it collided head-on with a southbound vehicle being driven by a 19-year-old male from Winnipeg.

Police say alcohol was not a factor in the crash and that everyone was wearing their seatbelts.

The investigation continues.
