The serious collision Wednesday on the Perimeter (Hwy 101) and Pipeline Rd. has resulted in the deaths of two people.
The crash happened just after 2pm when a semi travelling on Hwy 101 drove through a red light and collided with a mini van and 2 other vehicles. The driver and passenger in the mini van died of their injuries, a child in one of the other vehicles also suffered minor injuries.

The collision and ensuing investigation closed down the highway in both directions.
RCMP continue to investigate. Police have not said if charges will be laid.
