Winnipeg Police are investigating a fatal collision that claimed the life of a 49-year-old male pedestrian on Saturday, June 6, 2023.
Investigators say that around 2:40 am the driver of a vehicle was entering a carwash in the 500 block of Notre Dame Avenue when he struck a pedestrian who police believe was lying near the entrance. The 48-year-old pedestrian was taken to hospital in critical condition but he did not survive his injuries.
Members of the Traffic Division continue to investigate.
