A 32-year-old man from the RM of Springfield was killed last night when the ATV he was driving collided with a pickup truck travelling west on Garven Road.
The ATV was heavily damaged in the accident.
The RCMP say the investigation so far shows the pickup truck with a trailer full of bee hives and the ATV crashed when the ATV came out of the south ditch and crossed the road.
The 27-year old driver of the pickup, also from the area, had minor injuries.
The investigation is continuing, with a forensic collision reconstructionist, but they don’t believe alcohol was a factor in the crash.
