RCMP in Selkirk responded to a serious two-vehicle collision on Wednesday, May 9, 2018, on Highway 59 and CIL Road.
A car travelling north on Highway 59 was attempting to turn left onto CIL Road when it was hit by a pickup truck travelling south.
The driver and passenger in the pickup received minor injuries in the collision but a 23-year-old female passenger in the car was killed.
The driver of the car, a 38-year-old female and the other two passengers a 10-year-old girl and a 6-year-old boy were taken to hospital with serious injuries.
RCMP say that alcohol was not a factor in the collision.
