RCMP have arrested a 27-year-old male after the vehicle he was driving hit and killed three boys just north of the community of Nelson House, Manitoba about 850 kilometres north of Winnipeg.
Police say on Saturday, April 28, 2018, around 10:30 pm a 13-year-old and two 11-year-old males were on the side of the road when they were hit.

The driver of the vehicle got out of the vehicle and took off on foot. Around midnight he walked into the RCMP detachment in Nelson House and turned himself in.
Police have charged Todd Norman Linklater with Impaired Operation Causing Death x 3, Impaired Operation Over 80 mg% Causing Death x 3 and Failing to Remain at Scene of Accident x 3 for his alleged involvement.
The investigation is continuing.
