RCMP have arrested and charged a 19 year old male in connection to a house fire on the O-Chi-Chak-Ko-Sipi First Nation, near Crane River, Manitoba.
As News 4 told you on Sunday police were called to the scene of a “suspicious fire”. When the blaze was extinguished investigators located human remains inside the structure.

The investigation continued throughout the day and determined that arson was the cause of the fire. Police say that earlier in the day they had received a report of an assault at the same location when they returned for the fire call the house was fully involved and the female victim of the assault was unaccounted for which led to the arrest of Earl Moar
Moar has been charged with Aggravated Assault, Arson with disregard for Human Life, Assault and two counts of Breach of Recognizance.
He was detained in custody.
RCMP continue to investigate.
