RCMP respond to fatal collision
Just after 7:20 pm on Monday May 22, 2017 two vehicles collided head-0n one kilometre northeast of Sperling.
The male driver of one of the vehicles was pronounced dead on scene. The female passenger escaped serious injury and is recovering in hospital. In the second vehicle the male driver was taken to hospital in critical condition with life-threatening injuries. He died in hospital. The three passengers in the second vehicle had non-life threatening injuries.

Police were on scene for several hours as the RCMP Forensic Collision Reconstructionist and the Criminal Collision Investigative Team conduct their investigation.
Officials are not sure if alcohol played a factor in the collision or if anyone was wearing seat belts.
Sperling is about 60 kilometres southwest of Winnipeg..
