A 61 year old man from the RM of St. Andrews has died after the half ton truck he was driving collided with a semi-truck on Highway 8 at Provincial Road 27.
It happened Friday December 2, 2016 around 5:30 pm. When RCMP arrived on scene they found the man had already died of his injuries. The driver of the semi, a 50 year old man from Ontario, was not injured.
Investigation revealed the north-bound half ton truck on Highway 8, struck the semi-truck turning south-bound at the intersection of PR 27 and Highway 8.
Police say that alcohol was not a factor and both drivers were wearing seat belts.
The area was closed to traffic for about five hours as investigators worked the scene.
RCMP continue to investigate.
