In the midst of a Colorado low that is continuing to drop snow that is accumulating in the city, Winnipeg has implemented an Extended Winter Route Parking Ban as of midnight tonight.
The parking ban will be in place until further notice.
The extended ban extends the Annual Winter Route Parking Ban by two hours and restricts parking on all designated streets between midnight and 7:00 am. Streets with Winter Route or Snow Route signs are affected by the extended ban
Vehicles parked in violation of the ban may receive a $100 ticket and may be towed to the towing company’s compound where additional fees may apply.
