Winnipeg Police are investigating after explosives were found in a Warde Avenue condominium building on January 4, 2024.
The incident happened around 11:30 am and residents were evacuated with help from the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service.
The WPS Bomb Unit determined the explosives were commercial and there was no evidence to suggest a detonation was imminent.
The Major Crimes Unit has taken over the investigation and asks anyone with information to call them at 204-986-6219 or anonymously at Crime Stoppers 204-786-TIPS or winnipegcrimestoppers.org
