Winnipeg Police Service is investigating after a device detonated outside a Donald Street building around 9:30 am on Thursday, September 28, 2023.

Police say that an adult female reported there was a small explosion from a container as shee passed by it in the 100 block.

No one was injured and nothing was damaged in the area.

Members of the Bomb Unit say the container appears to have had CO2 cartridges that had been detonated.

Police do not believe the passerby was targeted by the explosion
