Heading out to enjoy Summer of Sound in Headingly today? RCMP have taken to social media to remind people that they will also be there and they are bringing their friends from the Winnipeg Police Service as well.

Delays are expected of up to an hour getting to the venue. Event organizers are warning that the parking areas are soggy after rains in the past fews days. Parking on the highway or roads in the area of the event is not permitted.

Police have also stated that there will be zero tolerance for criminal activity, drug or alcohol offences.
Organizers of the event have also reached out to event goers on Facebook with a list of banned items at the venue. They also suggest people take the shuttle to the event.
