Eric Wildman, the subject of a manhunt last week was returned to Manitoba on Friday June 18, 2021.
Wildman was arrested near Belleville, Ontario by the Ontario Provincial Police. He was charged last week with firearms-related offences and a warrant for his arrest was issued.
Wildman is also a suspect in the disappearance of 40-year-old Clifford Joseph. Joseph went missing in early June and is presumed dead.
On Sunday, June 20, 2021 Manitoba RCMP charged Wildman for his alleged involvement with additional charges Failing to Report the Destruction of a Prohibited Firearm (two counts), Transportation of a Firearm Contrary to Regulations and Possession of a Prohibited Device (over capacity magazine).
