Winnipeg’s Executive Policy Committee (EPC) will be holding a special meeting on Thursday, October 17, 2019, to vote on the ratification of the agreement between the city and transit workers.
The city and the transit union reached a four year agreement that will include pay increases of 1.25% in 2020, 2% in 2021, 1.75% in 2022 and 2% in 2023. Mechanics and skilled trades will also receive a $1 per hour raise in 2022.
Once the agreement is ratified by EPC it moves to full council for ratification.
