Just after 5:00 pm on Saturday, December 14, 2019, a man walked into a business in the 800 block of Westminster Avenue brandishing a handgun.
Police say the suspect demanded cash and cigarettes then assaulted a store employee. The employee suffered minor injuries.
There are reports that a shot was fired during the robbery
The Major Crimes Unit is investigating and is asking anyone with information about the incident to call them at 204-986-6219.
Investigators say they will not be releasing a description of the suspect at this time.
