Emergency crews respond to injured male on Powers Street

Winnipeg Police Service General Patrol officers along with members of the Tactical Support Team responded to the report of an injured male in the 300 block of Powers Street just north of Mountain Avenue on Saturday night, May 28, 2022.

When officers arrived just after 10:30 pm they found a male covered in blood with an apparent head injury and began emergency first aid until paramedics arrived on the scene.

It was clear from a blood trail on Mountain Avenue and Powers Street that the male had been injured at another location and made his way to the property he was found on.

A blood trail could be seen on nearby Mountain Street leading towards where the male was found (News 4)

The male was transported to hospital in unknown condition.

In an email to News 4 a Winnipeg Police spokesperson stated he was unable to find any information about the incident on their systems.
