Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to a fire in the 700 block of Boyd Avenue at 2:31 am Sunday morning.
When firefighters arrived on the scene they found flames shooting out of a one-and-a-half storey home. An offensive attack was launched with the fire being declared under control at 3;13 am.
Fire officials say that none of the residents were home at the time of the fire. No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
