Emergency crews busy with multiple collisions Saturday night

Emergency crews were busy Saturday night into Sunday morning as changing weather conditions in and out of Winnipeg made many area roads slick.

Some drivers appeared to not be driving to the conditions causing multiple collisions.

On Henderson Highway near Chief Peguis Trail firefighters, police and paramedics were called after a single vehicle rollover.

Around 11:30 a two vehicle collision on Higgins Avenue near McArthur Street caused significant damage to one SUV wile sending the second vehicle into the wall of a nearby building.

Conditions on the south perimeter highway were also slick as winds polished the surface of the roadway.

A semi-truck was seen in the ditch near Navin Road after it slid off the road.
