Emergency alert set to remind Manitobans to stay home

Manitoba will be issuing an emergency alert at 5:30 pm through broadcasters and cellular providers.

The alert is being sent out to “remind Manitobans of the importance of staying home due to the critical situation the province is facing due to COVID-19,” the province said in a media release.

The alert has been requested by Dr. Brent Roussin, chief provincial public health officer.
