Manitoba has expanded eligibility criteria to include those 57 and older and First Nation people 37 and older. In addition first responders (police, fire, paramedics) and everyone over the age of 18 living in priority communities with the highest risk of the COVID-19 virus.
The province noted that anyone who has been in Manitoba for one month or more and who meet eligibility requirements can receive a vaccine at no cost.
The criteria for those eligible to receive the AstraZeneca vaccine at medical clinics and pharmacies is 65 and older or 55 to 64 with a specified high-risk condition. For more information visit https://protectmb.ca
