Winnipeg Police released the numbers related to week four of the annual Festive Season Checkstop Program on Thursday, December 30, 2021

During the week 280 cars were stopped during the high visibility check stops. Eight people were charged with being impaired. 36 roadside breath tests were performed. Six people were given immediate roadside driving prohibitions and 18 traffic tickets were issued.
