Brandon Police in cooperation with RCMP from Blue Hills have busted eight people responsible for trafficking cocaine in the Westman area. Two others are wanted on arrest warrants.
Officers of the joint task force began their investigation in June of 2107. They targeted individuals working in the drug trade. Twenty-one Cocaine trafficking and proceeds of crime charges have been laid against the 10 individuals.
Police say the following suspects were arrested for their alleged involvement then released on a promise to appear:
Trent STOKES, 29 -Trafficking cocaine x3, Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking cocaine, Proceeds of Crime
James NEPINAK, 26 – Trafficking cocaine x3
Owen STEVENSON, 25 – Trafficking cocaine
Harley MALCOM, 25 – Trafficking cocaine x2
Emma NANKIVELL, 34 – Trafficking cocaine X2
Tyson SURMINSKY, 27 – Trafficking cocaine
Crystal LAROSE, 34 – Trafficking cocaine
Nelson BERARD, 39 was arrested for his alleged involvement in Trafficking cocaine X4. He was held in custody and will appear before a Judicial Justice of the peace.

Warrants of arrest have been issued for the remaining two individuals:
Police have issued warrants for two people and are asking anyone with information on their location to contact them.
Chelsea BRAZEAU, 22 is wanted on an outstanding warrant of arrest for trafficking Cocaine. Parker MCDONALD, 22 is wanted on an arrest warrant for trafficking Cocaine X2.
Brandon Police say they seized a total 54.1 grams of cocaine with a street value of $5,400 during their investigation.
