Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to a fire in a high-rise apartment building late Saturday night, July 31, 2021, after an alarm in the building indicated a fire.
Crews found a fire in one suite and were able to bring it under control in just over 35 minutes.
One person was taken to hospital in stable condition. No other injuries were reported and residents were able to return to their suites once firefighters had cleared the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation
