A 23-year-old Edmonton man is facing multiple drug trafficking charges after he was arrested in connection to a weeks long investigation in to trafficking drug in the Bridgewater area.
On October 7, 2023, members of the Winnipeg Police Service Guns and Gangs Unit located the suspect on Bison Drive near Centre Street and conducted a traffic stop. The suspect was placed in custody without incident. During the arrest officers found Canadian, American and Jamaican currency in the suspect’s possession.
Shortly after the arrest officers executed a search warrant on a residence in the 100 block of Appleford Gate as well as on a vehicle. They seized a number of items including:
- Approximately 15 Kilograms of Methamphetamine (Estimated Street Value: $75,000)
- Approximately 730 Grams of Cocaine (Estimated Street Value: $52,000)
- Approximately 168 Grams of Fentanyl (Estimated Street Value: $9,000)
- Multiple Kilogram wrappers contaminated with cocaine
- Multiple Methamphetamine contaminated Tupperware containers
- A Money Counter
- A Vaccum Sealer
- Cellular phones x 3
- Approximately $5,850 CDN currency
- A Jamaican Passport in the suspect’s name
Jordon Lewis has been charged for his alleged involvement with:
- Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine
- Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
- Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl
- Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000
He was detained in custody.
