Classroom used as storage says school division
Winnipeg fire crews responded to a fire at Ecole Riverbend in the early morning hours on Wednesday.
It happened just after 2:00 am. When firefighters arrived flames could be seen shooting about 30 feet into the morning sky from a portable classroom.
According to Seven Oaks School Division the building was being used as storage and the fire did not damage any part of the main building. Classes went on a usual without any delay.
Fire officials say that investigators will be on scene today to determine the cause of the blaze.
