RCMP say that they are investigating a homicide after the body of a 30-year-old male was found.
On Saturday, February 24, 2018, RCMP received a report of a vehicle abandoned on the road leading to the Easterville airport. Police searched the vehicle and found blood.

A search for the last known driver was begun. On Sunday, February 25, 2018, the male was discovered dead.
Police say the death is suspicious. Police do not believe that the killing was random and say there is no risk to public safety.
The investigation continues.
