Police say that around 5:30 am on Monday, April 8, 2019 officers responded to the report of a shooting in Easterville, about 465 kilometres from Winnipeg.
When police arrived they found a 15-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to the nursing station then transferred to hospital and is now in stable condition.
Investigators arrested a 15-year-old male from Easterville and have laid charges of Attempted Murder with a firearm, Possession of a firearm, Discharge Firearm while being reckless and using a firearm in the commission of an offence.
He was detained in custody.
