Police arrested an intoxicated 16-year-old female after she caused a disturbance on a Winnipeg Transit bus on Monday night, October 16, 2017.
It happened around 8:00 pm. the youth was yelling and swearing at a female passenger and trying to take her purse. She then punched the victim once in the upper body and threatened to kill her.
The Winnipeg Transit driver called the police and the suspect was taken off the bus at Kenaston and Grant and arrested.
Police have charged the 16-year-old girl with robbery, utter threats and two counts of fail to comply with conditions of an undertaking.
The woman who was assaulted did not require any medical attention.
