A 16-year-old Brandon youth has more than just a hangover today after he got up to shenanigans early Saturday morning, December 29, 2018
Police say the boy was highly intoxicated when he wandered into Brandon Police headquarters. Officers detained him under the Intoxicated Person Detention Act (IPDA).
A short time later officers noticed that one of the unmarked vehicles parked in the police parking lot had a smashed out window. Turns out that just prior to walking into the station the youth had smashed out the window with a metal bar.
Now, besides the IPDA offences, the youth is facing a charge for mischief to Property. He was released and will appear in court in January.
