Winnipeg Police raided two homes in different areas of the city on Thursday, January 11, 2018, and in the process seized multiple weapons and $81,000.00 in illicit drugs and cash
In the first incident, officers were told about “suspicious activity” occurring at a residence in the 200 block of Chalmers Avenue East. Police were told that a handgun and drugs were seen in the suite.
Officers from the street crime unit obtained a warrant and while executing it they found the loaded handgun, $30,000 worth of cocaine, $25,000 worth of Methamphetamine and $15,000 in cash.
28-year-old Tyion Policarpo was arrested and charged for his alleged involvement with a number of weapons and drug offences as well as Fail to comply with conditions of Undertaking.

The second incident took place at an apartment in the 3300 block of Pembina Highway. Police were called about a man being threatened in an apartment.
When officers arrived they found two men in the suite along with $26,000 in methamphetamine and a loaded shotgun.
50-year-old Mario Trunzo was arrested and charged for his involvement with uttering threats and a number of firearm and drug-related offences.
Trunzo was detained in custody.
The second male, in his 50’s, was also charged with weapon and drug offences but he was released on a promise to appear in court.
