Correctional Service Canada (CSC) says that since the beginning of February 2020, the staff at Stony Mountain Institution have seized three packages that contained Meth, pills, tobacco, miniature cell phones and other electronic components.
According to the CSC, the packages were found on the perimeter of the medium security unit at the prison just north of Winnipeg.
RCMP were notified of the discoveries and are investigating.
CSC said in a statement that they are “heightening measures to prevent contraband from entering its institutions in order to help ensure a safe and secure environment for everyone.”
