The Correctional Service of Canada reported an incident that occurred on October 7, 2021, at Stony Mountain Institution.
According to the CSC a package containing contraband was seized at the Maximum security unit of the prison.
The contraband included cocaine, fentanyl, methamphetamine, marijuana extract, heroin, marijuana, cell phones, and USB cables. The value of the seizure within the institution is approximately $707,250.
RCMP and the CSC are continuing to investigate.
