Three face drug and weapon charges after police raid home

Winnipeg Police have arrested three people after the Street Crime Unit raided a home in the 700 block of Martin Avenue East on Wednesday evening, November 29, 2017.

Police were executing a Controlled Drug and Substance Act search warrant. When they entered the home they found and seized weapons, drugs and cash including:

  • An SKS semi-automatic carbine rifle.
  • Ammunition and a high-capacity magazine.
  • Approximately 3.7 ounces of cocaine (valued at approximately $7,380).
  • Approximately 42 grams of crack cocaine (valued at approximately $3,360).
  • Packaging materials and scales.
  • An undisclosed amount of Canadian currency.

Gerald Michael Muswagon, 28 as well as a 20-year-old male are facing a number of drug, weapon, and proceeds of property obtained by crime charges.

A 20-year-old female is facing drug and proceeds of property obtained by crime charges.

Muswagon was detained in custody the other male and female were released on a promise to appear in court.

All three accused are from Winnipeg.
