On Monday October 18, 2021, Winnipeg Police executed a search warrant at a College Avenue home looking for drugs and firearms.
Officers along members of the Tactical Support Team searched the home and uncovered two shotguns, ammunition and 495 grams of Methamphetamine worth about $49,500 on the street. Officers also seized drug packaging and paraphernalia.
Police have charged a 29-year-old male and a 35-year-old female for their alleged involvement with Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking methamphetamine, Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000, two counts of Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm and two counts of Careless Storage of Firearm, Weapon, Prohibited Device or Ammunition.
Both accused were released on. an Undertaking which is mandated by the criminal code.
