Powerview RCMP executed a search warrant at a home on Sagkeeng First Nation on Monday, July 12, 2021, which resulted in the seizure of half an ounce of cocaine, prescription medication and cash. Officers also found drug-related paraphernalia.
Ramsey Courchene, 30, from Sagkeeng First Nation was arrested and charged for his alleged involvement with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of Property Obtained by crime and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
Police continue to investigate.
