Traffic stop leads to drug and weapons arrests

Four people are facing a number of drug, weapon and property charges after police pulled over a stolen vehicle near Inkster Boulevard and Salter Street on Friday, February 23, 2018.

Police say it took multiple police units to stop the stolen vehicle.

A search of the vehicle netted police 38 ounces of cocaine worth about $60,000, two revolvers and the frame to a 1911 handgun.

Shaine Christopher Paul, 29, Timothy Vance Porth, 55, Shannon Thomas Sanderson, 42 and Ernest Gunther Wunnemann, 45, all from Winnipeg have been charged for their alleged involvement and collectively face more than 80 charges.

All four men were detained in custody.
