Meth, gun, bear spray and cash seized in Brandon raid

Brandon Police Organized Crime Section raided a home on Monday, November 4, 2019, in the 600 block of 10th Street. That’s less than a block away from Brandon police headquarters.

During the execution of the search warrant, officers seized 31 grams of meth, a .22 calibre rifle, ammunition, a can of bear spray and $3,000 in cash.

The 46-year-old resident of the home was taken into custody and is facing charges for his alleged involvement of Unauthorized Possession of Firearm, Unsafe Storage of Firearm, Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Meth, and Proceeds of Crime.

The suspect was detained in custody.
