Drug Enforcement Unit busts Meth trafficker

Winnipeg’s Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) has arrested a 51-year-old male for trafficking methamphetamine

Police say the DEU executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant on Thursday, December 13, 2018, on a home in River Park South.

The DEU raided the home as the result of an investigation into drug trafficking at the residence.

Officers seized Meth with a street value of $6,500 along with $675 in cash.

Mario Trunzo from Winnipeg was arrested and charged for his alleged involvement with Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (Methamphetamine), Possession of Proceeds of Crime, Fail to Comply with Recognizance x 2

Trunzo was detained in custody.
