DRUG BUST | RCMP NAB DRUG TRAFFICKERS DURING TRAFFIC STOP

Selkirk RCMP got their man, in fact they got three of them.

On September 19, 2016, around 3:00 am, Selkirk RCMP stopped a vehicle for speeding southbound on Highway 59.

Three men were in the vehicle. During the stop police believed that the driver was lying about his identity. He was arrested and searched. Police discovered plastic bags of a white powder that looked to be cocaine. The driver and passengers were then arrested for possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.

Zuhair Mohammad, 21, from Winnipeg, Manitoba has been charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime and two charges of Failing to Comply with Conditions of an Undertaking.

Delano Wilson, 20, from Winnipeg, Manitoba has been charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime and one charge of Failing to Comply with Undertaking Conditions.

Awrangzaib Seerat, 29, from  Winnipeg, Manitoba has been charged with one count of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking. 

Mohammad is remanded in custody. Seerat and Wilson are released.

The trio will appear in court October 13, 2016.
