Drug charges laid after Brandon police stop vehicle and find Meth and Cocaine

Brandon Police have arrested and charged a 35-year-old female after they stopped the vehicle she was driving as part of an on-going drug investigation.

Police say that around 11:30 pm on Wednesday, April 11, 2018, they pulled the vehicle over in the 1100 block of Louise Avenue East.

As officers searched the vehicle they uncovered 28.47 grams of Methamphetamine and 27.7 grams of Cocaine along with $390 in cash.

Investigators estimate the street value of the drugs to be around $8,400.00.

The driver of the vehicle is facing charges of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Methamphetamine, Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine and Possession of Proceeds of Crime.

She was released on a promise to appear.
