RCMP are investigating after being called to a rock quarry on Taylor Road in the RM of St. Andrews around 5:00 pm on Sunday, July 4, 2021, for the report of a possible drowning.
Police say that a 4-year-old child was playing in the water near the beach when a family member lost site of the child.
A search was conducted on the water and surrounding area. At approximately 7:25 pm the child’s body was pulled from the water.
