The investigation into a fatal collision on Sunday August 18, 2019 is ongoing but RCMP say that the 82-year-old male who died was not wearing his seatbelt.
Police say that the man who died was driving south on Henderson Highway when he attempted to make a left hand turn onto the North Perimeter Highway exit ramp. The 82-year-old’s vehicle was struck by a northbound vehicle.
Investigators believe that the 82-year-old failed to yield the right of way as he turned onto the exit ramp..
The 58-year-old male driver of the other vehicle suffered minor injuries.
