Cranberry Portage RCMP have a warrant for the arrest of a 32-year-old male from Swan River in connection to a fatal single-vehicle rollover in August of 2020.
Police say that alcohol was suspect in the collision that happened about 9 kilometres north of Highway 10 on Sherridon Road.
Investigators say the driver lost control of the vehicle, went into a ditch and rolled. Three passengers, a 15-year-old female from Flin Flon, a 33-year-old male from Pukatawagan, and a 33-year-old male from The Pas, were all taken to hospital. The male from The Pas died a few days later from his injuries.
Police obtained a warrant for the arrest of Jesse Arron Campbell in October of 2020 but have yet to place him in custody.
Campbell is wanted for Operation of a Conveyance While Impaired Causing Death, Operation of a Conveyance with a Blood Alcohol Concentration Equal to or Over 80 mg% Causing Death, two counts of Operation of a Conveyance While Impaired Causing Bodily Harm, two counts of Operation of a Conveyance with a Blood Alcohol Concentration Equal to or Over 80 mg% Causing Bodily Harm, Operation of a Conveyance while Impaired, Operation of a Conveyance with a Blood Alcohol Concentration Equal to or Over 80 mg% and Operation of a Conveyance While Prohibited.
Police are looking for help in locating Campbell. He is described as being 6’0″ tall with black hair and brown eyes.
