RCMP are investigating after a driver crashed his truck into a Ste-Pierre-Jolys business on Wednesday, September 14, 2022.
According to the RCMP, officers responded to the report of an erratic driver on Highway 59. When they located the vehicle police attempted a traffic stop but the driver continued through the town knocking over a light pole and then slamming into the front of a building coming to rest inside.
Police say that the 58-year-old driver was found to be in medical distress and was taken to hospital. He has since been released.
RCMP are continuing to investigate the incident.
