RCMP arrested and charged the driver of a pick-up truck after he was involved in a collision that claimed the life of an 82-year-0ld Teulon woman.

The collision happened on Road 3 Eaast at Highway 415 on Saturday afternoon, March 11, 2023.

Police say that the pick-up was southbound on Road 3 East when it entered the intersection and crashed into an SUV going east on Highway 415.

The female passenger in the SUV was pronounced dead at the scene. A 91-year-old male and a 55-year-old male also in the SUV were transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The 29-year-old male driver and a 28-year-old male passenger in the pick-up were not physically injured in the collision.

Police have charged the driver of the pick-up for his alleged involvement with Impaired Operation of a Conveyance Causing Death and Impaired Operation of a Conveyance Causing Bodily Harm.
