Emergency responders were called to the scene of a single-vehicle collision on Maryland Street at 9:18 pm on Friday, February 18, 2022.
When crews arrived on the scene they found a pickup truck on its side just north of Broadway. Firefighters had to extricate the lone male driver from the vehicle by cutting off the roof. The adult male was transported to hospital in unknown condition.
It appears the the pickup had clipped a snowbank prior to rolling onto the passenger side.
Traffic on Maryland Street between Portage Avenue and Broadway was diverted while police spent several hours on the scene investigating the cause of the collision.
