An 18-year-old Winnipeg male is facing charges related to an October 12, 2018 single vehicle rollover.
Police say that during the collision on Dawson Road near Plessis Road two people were ejected from the vehicle and four others were able to escape. The driver was trapped in the vehicle but was rescued by a witness to the collision as the vehicle caught fire.
Six people were taken to hospital with various injuries.
On May 30, 2019 police arrested and charged the driver with five counts of Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle Cause Bodily Harm.
The driver was released on a promise to appear in court.
