A 72-year-old man was injured after he was attacked during a traffic incident on River Avenue on October 12, 2023.

Police say the man was driving his vehicle when a cyclist crossed in front of his van causing the driver to stop suddenly to avoid a collision.  The cyclist became enraged and began yelling profanities according to police. As the driver rolled down his window to talk to the cyclist a second person hit the driver in the upper body causing extensive injuries.

Investigators think that during the attack other motorists in the area may have seen something and have important information to share which can help identify the suspects involved.
